Get Involved

Volunteerism in Islam is an essential ingredient of community development.

Allah (swt) honors those he selects to assume the responsibility of delivering His Message, managing His House and serving the people. A voluntary vocation requires an ethos of commitment, patience, professionalism, sincerity, consultation, accountability, transparency, teamwork, continuance, loyalty & sacrifice. However the returns on this particular investment from Allah (swt) are plentiful, both in this world and in the Hereafter.

Each one of us has a skill, expertise or time which could be utilised for the sake and pleasure of Allah (swt).

We need your support for the redevelopment project, construction for which has now started. Please get in touch to join one of our project committees. Email info@wliconline.org

The Final Messenger of Allah said, 'Ramadan has come to you. (It is) a month of blessing, in which Allah covers you with blessing, for He sends down Mercy, decreases sins and answers prayers. In it, Allah looks at your competition (in good deeds), and boasts about you to His angels. So show Allah goodness from yourselves, for the unfortunate one is he who is deprived in (this month) of the mercy of Allah, the Mighty, the Exalted.' [Narrated by Tabarani]
