“Read, in the Name of your Lord Who created humans from a clinging clot of congealed blood. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, Who taught by the pen and taught humanity what they knew not. Most certainly some transgress, once they think they are self-sufficient. But surely to your Lord, is the return of all.” [Al Qur’an 96:1-8]

OPENING LATE 2026: The WLIC Qurtuba Resource Library is a dedicated provision for the entire community, which will provide access to a diverse collection of in-house reference and reading material. Still in its early stage set up, it will serve as a space for learning and reflection, offering two main reading sections, one on world topics and the other section dedicated to Islamic literature. We hope it will contribute to the spiritual and intellectual growth of our younger generations, as they say; “The world belongs to those who read”. As a reference library, removal or taking home of books will not be permitted.

To ensure the library continues to expand and benefit the community, we currently welcome the donation of select books. If you have books which are in good condition that you no longer need, we would be grateful for your contribution, once they have been checked and approved by our office. All donated books will be reviewed to ensure they align with the library’s ethos and the needs of our community.
